Polk State hitters had a busy day at the plate and on the base paths today, collecting 19 hits in a 17-7 win over the Santa Fe College Saints (No. 8 FCSAA, No. 8 NJCAA) in Gainesville.
The Eagles broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the second inning and never trailed in the game. They added two runs in the fourth, three in the fifth, six in the sixth, and two in the ninth.
Isaiah Cullum homered, doubled, scored three runs, and drove in three.
Skylar Frey went 4-for-5 with a sacrifice, two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Raudy Martinez had a single, a triple, three runs, and four RBI.
Cole Warken went 4-for-6 with a double, an RBI, and two runs.
