Eagles defeat FSCJ for second straight win

Polk State picked up its second straight win, and second consecutive road victory, tonight, defeating Florida State College at Jacksonville 73-59 tonight in Jacksonville. 

At halftime, the Eagles had a 32-30 lead. 

Darelle Porter led Polk State with 17 points. He made five of eight field goal attempts, one of three three-point shots, and six of seven free throws. 

Troy Simons scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. 

Djuro Pantos recorded 12 points and six rebounds.

Karim Mouliom tallied 10 points. 

Elijah Cottrill had seven points, while Dayjar Dickson also scored seven and had six rebounds. 

The Eagles (10-4, No. 8 FCSAA) hit the road again Saturday for a 3 p.m. game against Tallahassee Community College in Gainesville,
