The NJCAA announced that Yue "Phoebe" Wu of Polk State College has earned first team All America honors.

A freshman from Shanghai, China, Wu led the NJCAA Division I in kills per set (5.09) and finished second in kills (616).

She helped lead Polk State to its second straight appearance in the NJCAA Division I National Championship volleyball tournament in Casper, Wyo., where the Eagles finished sixth out of 16 teams. Her play in the tournament earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

"We're very proud of Phoebe," said head Coach German Del Valle. "This is one of the highest honors, and she has worked hard to earn it. We look forward to seeing her bright future."
